[TRANS] “8th Korea Musical Awards” Nominees revealed.

The ‘Korean Musical Awards’, which started in 2016, began as a turning point to look back coolly on the past 50 years of Korean musicals since the premiere of the original musical “C’mon Here Quietly” in 1966 and prepare for the next 50 years.

The ‘Korean Musical Awards’ is a representative awards ceremony that concludes the year of the Korean musical market every January and revitalizes the musical market with the meaning of starting a new year, while encouraging and celebrating musical artists working hard in the art field.

A total of 21 awards will be awarded in 4 categories, and the winners will be selected through online voting by an expert voting group and an audience voting group.

In addition to the awards ceremony, the ‘Korea Musical Awards’ holds various side events such as conferences, red carpets, and networking parties, evolving into a festival created with audiences who love musicals rather than simply a festival for performing artists.
